I will tell my story of our gathering on beautiful Lake Michigan at the historical DeKoven Center. This is our first circle, we came from many places, each with our stories, our spirit and we blended quickly through our sharing and rituals together.

Jean, whose Native American name is Waski Emani Wi, which means Strong Walking Woman, leading us in a Native American Water Ceremony to heal the waters of Lake Michigan. We were each invited to bring water from our home sources, mixed them together, blessed them and added some to the lake.
